Pratt's Stats. http://BVMarketData.com/: Pratt's Stats™ is the Official Database of the International Business Brokers Association and is your gateway to guideline company sale data on private business sale transactions
Mergerstat. http://www.mergerstat.com/: This preeminent database contains transactions valued at over $ 1 million.

Done Deals. http://donedeals.nvst.com/pDONHome.asp: This database provides information on private and public mid-market companies sold between $1 million and $100 million.

Thompson Financial Securities Data Company's Worldwide M&A Database. http://thomson.com/financial/fi_investbank.jsp: This database contains thousands of transactions and is considered the leading source of deals valued at over $ 1 million.

Freeedgar http://www.freeedgar.com/: A free site that is a good place to go if you need just one or two filings. An added benefit to the the site is the ability to search the database by SIC code.
LivEdgar http://www.gsionline.com/: This fee-based source of EDGAR filings is well worth the small price it charges for documents. The entire EDGAR database is searchable by SIC code, form type and keywords. Parts of filings, such as income statements, can be downloaded into spreadsheets. Because filings are pre-formatted they can be printed without the need to make any changes.

Nvst.com http://www.nvst.com/: Nvst.com is an online meeting place for investors, entrepreneurs, and advisors providers.
